Right now my only real worry is when to go to France. Not to early because I want to have fun with my friends, but not to late to get registered into my school and find an apartment. But meh, I still feel like a kid sometimes xD.

I love being a kid, but sometimes it begins to feel like i have no power to do anything lol.Well...does being a teenager count as being a kid still? haha
I may be a kid, but this 'Mental Age" app on my Itouch said i was 21, mentally! XD

I hated being a kid.....my childhood was not good----
now I have it pretty good, I dont work, I can eat whatever and whenever I want...my husband works (2 jobs now

).....I have my own place so I dont have to clean if I dont want to, etc.....MUCH better now!!!

I dated a guy in college--his mom said he was born late (almost 1/2 month!) and that he was late for everything------and would probably be late for his own funeral (pun and actual intended). sigh

Well I'm going to be 19 soon, but like I said I still feel like a kid : I get lost with things like filling a form or cooking something new, and I get over joyed with some really basic things. Once a friend and me were looking at kids playing with an oar and we said "Hmm it's nice being a kid, you can have fun with anything, even an oar", and then we looked at each other and realized that we were playing with sands and leaves xD.

My childhood was okay/good. But the 6th-9th grade....it's not that I have some bad memories, it's just that I don't have any really good memories, although I met some of my closest friends. And the 10th-12th grade : the best, even school was fun and went too fast. However I don't know how college will be...new country, new people but one of my closest friend will be in the same town, so it's not all that bad

Having to have two jobs sucks...everything is getting so expensive now. But as long as you have a roof above your head, it's not that bad ^^.

I wish I was still a kid. I guess I can still sort of be since I'm still in college but for the most part, nope. Being old enough to drink and all that jazz makes you have to be even more responsible apparently. >.<

I had a good childhood. Nothing special though.

My gf used to always be late. Then we started dating and I hate it when people are late, it's one of my biggest pet peeves. She is hardly ever late anymore.

Age has it's advantages and disadvantages. I just had a birthday that got me to minimum retirement age, but don't feel anywhere near that age mentally. Age is basically a mental state, some people are old in their 20's. I also dislike it when people are continuously late, I feel it is being inconsiderate.

I used to hate when people were late (that boyfriend for example, made my anxiety levels increase!), but after living in japan and being ignored in lines there, having to wait just because they dont want to take care of you etc....I learned to have patience. My anxiety levels have decreased and I feel much better. Yeah I get a bit annoyed at people who are late, but it really doesnt bother me as much now. I take care of what I can--that is me (and to some extent my spouse), CANT take care of everyone--I can remind them of the time for stuff, but in the end its that persons' responsibility to arrive on time and there aint really much else I can do about it and getting mad doesnt solve anything.

Well we are under a flash flood warning from now until tomorrow 6 pm. Seems like we just went through this,oh that's right we did. We need the rain but a slow steady would be better than deluges.

I sometime cheat : I tell to come at 5.30 when we have to meet at 6 because I know they are going to be late xD. I don't really mind people that are late, except when I have to wait for them to go somewhere, it's annoying.

These days I like the weather here : not too hot or too cold, not to sunny.

yep have a friend that is always late so you tell them to be there sometime well before it starts so they get there close to the right time....usually works.

am still working on getting that rain to sunny CA....things are cooperating but will continue to work on it.

hubby made some really good pasta for dinner (he made the sauce turned out really good).
(gotta talk about food)

Weather... ya suppose to be 93 today. We have a heat advisory out. Guess that means I'm gonna use the pool when I get home from work. If I survive... 93 outside means 103 inside of the school...

I don't think I have any friends that are always late. Of course I'm usually too busy to hang out with friends.

hot and humid for most of the country....still gotta get that rain in califormia....just doesnt want to do it

wooot my mommy sent me a prezzie for my special day .....yes its late but she had to ask for the size that I needed for it (yes I already know what it is without even opening the box

but at least it is something I wanted)....

and a letter from the condo ass....yes need to be home in september to let the idiots check to make sure the HEAT detectors are indeed still working (they have been up and running for 25 years already---last year the assessssss got zonked by the village and now we have to let people into our private homes to see that yes, we still have this totally USELESS piece of .....still attached to our ceilings....)

sorry I really get upset about that whole thing---rant over.

They dont trust you enough to check the batteries on your own? Or are they hard wired into the place? Heat detectors are very useful. They will tell you if there's a fire even before the smoke gets it. (rise in temp so much in an amount of time will set it off)

yes they are hard wired...and right next to a big old light too (nice and hot up there) other one is in the utility room above the furnace!
they have never gone off in any of the condo units in all of the years the condos have been here, though for some reason they decided that NOW we have to have them checked YEARLY which means someone needs to be home to let them in (good thing I'm not working---otherwise someone would need to take time off from work to sit here and wait for them to look at them and say 'yuup that looks like it still works, gegegegeeee' )

its a waste of time and effort and certainly totally UNNECESSARY! but that's what happens when your stupid assossssesss f*up....the village gets back at you for allllllll those years they didnt have control over your private lives!
